Currently within the Georgetown University SCS he teaches, as adjunct professor, the following courses:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Church and Science<\/em> \u2013 A Historical Perspective where he analyzes the complex\u00a0philosophical and political interaction between the scientific developments and the\u00a0Catholic Church dogma from the High Middle Ages until the present time.<\/li>\n<li><em>Transhumanism<\/em> \u2013 Ethical, Social and Religious Implications where he teaches about the\u00a0scientific and philosophical background of state of the art developments like\u00a0Technological Singularity, Artificial Super Intelligence, Nanotechnologies.<\/li>\n<li>As visiting professor and invited corporate speaker Dan also teaches courses in <em>Artificial\u00a0Intelligence and Machine Learning<\/em> using Python implementation of algorithms (with\u00a0focus on artificial neural networks, data pattern recognition and classification, linear\u00a0regression, deep learning and reinforcement learning).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Prior to Georgetown he has been a\u00a0senior executive at companies like Maxtor, Seagate, Maxoptix, Western Digital,\u00a0Lawrence Livermore National Lab (LLNL).
