Ioan ROXIN holds a degree in Cybernetics and Computer Science, and a PhD in Statistics (Academy of Economic Studies – Bucharest). Since 1991 he has been teaching and researching in France, at the National Institute of Applied Sciences (INSA – Lyon) and at the University of Franche-Comté (UFC – Besançon). He is currently Professor at the UFC and elected director of the ELLIADD interdisciplinary laboratory. His research interests are in the field of digital communication: design and analysis of the usage of digital objects dedicated to communication, as well as content semantization. The focus application domains are: e-learning, digital publishing, social media.
